1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device to store information. They can be first-party (set by TethBet) or third-party (set by a sub-processor). Similar technologies include HTML5 local storage, IndexedDB, pixel tags, and device fingerprints, each of which may be used to store or read information on your device.
2. Categories of Cookies We Use
Strictly Necessary
Required to operate the Service — authentication tokens, CSRF protection, session state, load balancing, security, and preservation of your Demo balance in local storage. These cannot be disabled and do not require consent.
Functional
Preferences such as language, theme, table layout, sound, and haptic settings. If disabled, personalisation will not persist across sessions.
Analytics
Anonymous, aggregate usage metrics (page views, feature adoption, error rates) used to improve the Service. Set only with consent where required by law.
Security & Fraud Prevention
Device fingerprints and risk signals used to detect bots, credential stuffing, multi-accounting, and payment fraud. Rely on legitimate interests and, where applicable, legal obligation (AML).
Marketing
Only used where you have opted in. We do not use advertising cookies for cross-context behavioural advertising by default.
3. Managing Cookies
You can accept, reject, or configure non-essential cookies from the cookie banner shown on first visit and from the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will impair core functionality (for example, you will be unable to log in).
4. Do Not Track
We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals for jurisdictions that require it and treat them as an opt-out of non-essential cookies.
5. Retention
Session cookies expire at the end of your session. Persistent cookies expire between 30 days and 24 months, depending on their purpose. Fraud-prevention identifiers may be retained for up to 5 years to satisfy AML record-keeping.
6. Third Parties
Sub-processors that set cookies on our behalf are listed in our Privacy Policy. Each is bound by a data-processing agreement and permitted to use data only for the purposes we specify.
